Qatar Airways Introduces Elite Dining

Qatar Airways  is bringing together the palettes and passion of the world's best chefs as part of the offerings of the airline boasting what Skytrax called as the “World's Best Business Class” in 2013. Chefs Nobu Matsuhisa, Tom Aikens, Ramzi Choueiri and Vineet Bhatia have created a unique mixture of tastes and textures, which gives travelers more quality and diversity in the skies than they might ever find on the ground.

Each meal is paired with an elite list of wines and champagnes, chosen by Qatar's international wine masters, who meet bi-annually in Frankfurt to blind test and select the finest vintages from around the globe.

Since the airline’s re-launch in 1997, Qatar Airways has earned many awards and accolades, becoming one of an elite group of airlines worldwide to have been awarded a five-star rating by Skytrax. Qatar Airways now has over 120 destinations worldwide, offering service excellence that helped it excel as an award-winning carrier. It was voted Airline of the Year 2011 and in 2012 in the prestigious Skytrax industry audit. With a route expansion averaging 30% growth year to year, it now flies one of the most modern fleet of almost 120 aircraft in the skies today. The company’s global network currently spans key business and leisure destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America, with scheduled flights operating to and from its hub in Doha, capital of the State of Qatar.
