The experience begins upon arrival when a private helicopter transfer takes guests from the airport to the resort, where along the way guests can spot a variety of marine life like dolphins, manatees and sharks among the waters of the Belize Barrier Reef below. Other exclusive opportunities included in the excursion include a private snorkel trip with a captain and private guide where guests will swim with stingrays, tropical fish and nurse sharks; a private Lamaj Mayan Ruin Tour where guests can take a museum tour and explore the Mayan temples (and see the myriad bird life and howler monkeys); and a flyover of Ambergis Caye, St. George’s Caye, the Booby Bird Sanctuary and shipwrecks.
A beachfront three-course dinner with wine under the stars, in-room daily breakfast and a romantic rooftop dinner with views of the Emerald Sea are included in the package as well. Accommodations for the getaway are the resort’s 1,600-square-foot one-bedroom penthouse townhome, with a private plunge pool or Jacuzzi tub on the balcony.
As is available with any La Terrazas stay, an on-site concierge is able to assist guests with a variety of island and mainland excursions. Guests of Las Terrazas are granted access to the largest private beachfront on the island, a 70’ infinity lap pool, fitness center and the resorts Serenity Spa and Wellness Center.
