Love might be a gamble but not this February. At least that’s what Sofitel New York is saying. The midtown luxury hotel is making anyone who drops by the property this month a winner. The French-accented hotel is mounting Une Loterie d’Amour – a Love Lottery – where guests will win prizes ranging anywhere from a complimentary cocktail to a two-night Sofitel stay, all in exchange for a donation to The Bowery Mission.
Based on the denomination of your donation - $10, $25, $50, $100, $250 or $500 – you will get to choose a Valentine from a flower-strewn display in the hotel’s signature restaurant, Gaby Brasserie Française. Each Valentine envelope will contain a prize, ranging from a cocktail at Gaby Bar to a dessert or dinner for two with a bottle of wine at Gaby, to a weekend at the hotel in a Terrace Suite, to the grand prize of a two-night stay at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
All donations will benefit New York’s own The Bowery Mission. The Bowery Mission has served the homeless, hungry and poor communities in New York for nearly 140 years.
