California Wine Festival Announces Event Details

California Wine FestivalTheCalifornia Wine Festival just announced the event details for its 12th annual season, set to take place July 16-18 in Santa Babara. 

The festival aims to promote and celebrate the fine wines and foods of the California region. This year, the event will feature nearly 250 wines from over 70 wineries and 30 fine dining restaurants and gourmet food companies. 

The event will have a new “Cabernet Clinic and Tasting Seminar”, where 40 guests will enjoy a tasting conducted by winemakers from the Paso Robles Cab Collective, moderated by Matt Kettmann. 

Other festival events include:

- Thursday, July 16, 6:30-9 pm, “Old Spanish Nights Wine Tasting”
- Friday, July 17, 5-6 pm, “Cab Collective – Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting”
- Friday, July 17, 6:30-9 pm, “Sunset Rare & Reserve Wine Tasting”
- Saturday, July 18, 1-4 pm, “Beachside Food & Wine Fest”

The California Wine Festival is a member of 1% For The Planet, an organization which donates at least 1 percent of its annual net revenue to international environmental foundations. Also, a portion of festival profits will go to the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County.
