Silversea Cruises has announced they have reached an exclusive agreement with the Plateno Group in China, where the Chinese hospitality brand will market and sell Silversea Cruises throughout mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.
In the partnership, Plateno will advertise and sell Silversea cruises throughout the territory and be responsible for the development of the Silversea brand image with local audiences. This agreement holds true for all cruises offered by Silversea across its fleet of nine classic and expedition vessels, and for all global destinations. Silversea will continue to honor all existing travel agreements with agents in the region.
Silversea has made several other announcements recently, including the largest fleet-wide refurbishment plan in company history, the launch of Silver Muse in April 2017, and the conversion of Silver Cloud into an ice-class expedition vessel by the end of 2017.
By partnering with Plateno, Silversea will gain access to their insight and experience in the region as an aid to Silversea’s growth plans.
