Concert Supports Music School in Florence

Classical music lovers in Florence will want to check out next month's Sunset Concert in the Four Seasons Hotel's Gherardesca Park, a performance by students of the Fiesole Music School. The orchestra is made up of young musicians aged from 10 to 17, coming from all over the world to study at one of the most respected music schools in Europe.

Founded in 1974 by Maestro Piero Farulli, the viola player of the Quartetto Italiano, Fiesole Music School has five orchestras (divided according to the students’ age) and teachers such as Natalia Gutman, Pavel Vernikov, Elisso Virsaladze, Andrea Lucchesini and Pietro de Maria. The Sunset Concert is a unique opportunity as attendees will be able to support the young students with the event’s profit entirely donated to the school. At the end of the concert, guests can enjoy a buffet dinner.

The event will be held on Thursday, June 9. Aperitifs will be served at 7:30 pm; the concert will begin at 8:00 pm; and the buffet dinner will be served at 9:00 pm. Tickets are €100 ($141), reserved through the hotel.
