Le Royal Monceau, Raffles Paris Debuts Philippe Starck-Designed Spa

Le Royal Monceau, Raffles ParisBig news out of Paris: Le Royal Monceau, Raffles has opened its highly-anticipated spa, designed exclusively by Philippe Starck (a.k.a. the design god). The white-on-white spa occupies a sprawling, contemporary space of 16,000 square feet. This "ethereal white paradise" was conceived entirely by Starck—from the custom furnishings and wall of framed mirrors to the glittering swimming pool measuring 92 feet in length, the largest of any hotel in Paris. The first spa from My Blends by Clarins has seven treatment rooms, a fitness center with all the latest equipment, and separate relaxation rooms for men and women each featuring a hammam, ice fountain, laconium, sauna, and shower experience. Personal trainers and pool coaches are available.

A few words about the revolutionary treatments: Dr. Olivier Courtin developed My Blend for Clarins, a range of fully customizable skin care products designed for the individual needs of every skin type at every age. Bespoke facial treatments are exclusive to Le Royal Monceau, Raffles Paris. Starting with an in-depth skin analysis to determine the biological age of the skin, the treatment includes an expert application of the personalized products by ‘My Beauty Coach,’ and finishes off with a Clarins make-up session. Each guest also receives a two week supply of their personalised skin care products ‘My Blend Day and Night’ Essentials with Emergency Boosters.
