New in Vietnam: The Anam Opens in Cam Ranh

The Anam, Vietnam

A new luxury beach resort has opened in Vietnam, not far from the popular beach destination of Nha Trang which is famed for a climate boasting more than 300 days of sunshine per year. (From this mid-coast location, it’s just a quick flight to both Hanoi and Saigon.) The Anam (not to be confused with “Aman”) has debuted on a private beach in Cam Ranh, against a lush mountain backdrop and facing a string of islands.

As described on the official website, The Anam aims to “recapture the bygone era of colonial Vietnam” and the “old Indochine era” is reflected in the “architecture, design, and service standards.”

There are 105 villas, facing either the garden or the ocean, and some are equipped with private pools and serviced by 24/7 personal butlers. Facilities include the Sri Mara Spa, fitness center, Indochine Café, swimming pool, and Beach Club with water sports. The Anam is currently in soft opening phase with a grand opening slated for late December 2016.
