Now Open: Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta in Buckhead

There’s a new luxury hotel on the block in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood. The Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta debuted yesterday in a 42-storey skyscraper designed by American architect Robert A.M. Stern. The 127 guest rooms were designed to reflect “the refined luxury of a high-class Atlanta residence”—to quote the website.

Choose a room with a terrace for views over the city skyline. The Premier Terrace Suite actually has two balconies, from where you can enjoy al fresco breakfast or dinner. The Mandarin Suite also has two balconies, complementing its private dining room and pantry. To celebrate the hotel’s opening, the “More in Atlanta” offer provides a third night free when booking two consecutive nights-- starting from $295 per night.

As we reported earlier this year, the property was previously known as “The Mansion on Peachtree” before its rebranding. The Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta has a 15,000-square-foot spa with an indoor lap pool and fitness center; ample conference facilities; a gourmet restaurant called The Café & Bar; and the Taipan cocktail lounge. It’s located at 3376 Peachtree Road in Atlanta. For more information, visit www.mandarinoriental.com/atlanta.
