Jetset Report: Getting to Mozambique

Rani Resorts' Indigo Bay Island Resort and Spa is located on the Bazaruto Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique. Great for an exotic vacation? Yes. Convenient to get to? Not so much. At least, not yet.
Construction has begon on a brand new international airport at Vilanculos, Mozambique. The Vilanculos airport is the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago. Expected to open in nine months, the new airport will include spacious departure lounges for international and domestic flights as well as a new VIP lounge. The new terminal will allow for an expected increase from 75,000 to 200,000 passengers annually.
Indigo Bay Island Resort and Spa has Bay View Villas, Beach Chalets, a Honeymoon Villa and a Presidential Villa. Bazaruto Archipelago is home to a wildlife sanctuary so guests have the opportunity to spot rare dugong and three species of sea turtles.
