Museum of London Offers Special Tours
September 3, 2010 By: Jena Tesse Fox
London's museums are a destination in and of themselves, with more exhibits and displays than can possibly enjoyed in a single visit.
To help guests get the most out of their experience, the Museum of London is offering special tours that can focus on a particular topic or just bring visitors to the highlights. Several tours only run for 45 minutes or an hour (the "High-speed history of London" or "Who came to early London?" tours are great for time-pressed guests, as is the off-site Roman amphitheatre tour), and others emphasize different angles of the city's history and heritage. (The museum has a dedicated fashion curator just for couture exhibits. See, fashion really is art! And really, the medieval and Tudor dress tour looks brilliant.)
