The most famous cat in Paris—the pampered resident feline of Le Bristol—has admirers around the globe. Fa-raon joined the staff of the legendary palace hotel in 2010 and guests find him happily ensconced in plush lobby chairs, or curled up on the bar, especially after he celebrated his third birthday with tailor-made gifts from Maison Goyard. Until recently. 

The hotel’s Facebook page has chronicled a recent bout of depression that not even a delightful milky treat, prepared by the head barman, could remedy. Nor a basket presented by the head housekeeper, nor a colorful bouquet arranged by the head florist…

What could General Manager Didier Le Calvez do? Present him with a lady friend, of course! The newest addition to the staff of Le Bristol is Kléopatre.
