Temporary Nobu Restaurant Opens at Le Royal Monceau Paris

Fans of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa can now get their fix of sea urchin sushi and miso-glazed black cod in Paris. Yesterday the acclaimed chef set up shop at Le Royal Monceau, Raffles Paris, where his temporary pop-up restaurant will occupy La Cuisine for two months. Guests can order ‘Omakase’, the traditional Chef’s Choice tasting menu, which includes seven dishes served to the whole table (think signatures like black cod with miso and yuzu, tuna sashimi salad and the Whisky Cappucino desert), priced at €150 per person. It’s also possible to enjoy à la carte dishes.

For pairings with Nobu’s inventive Japanese cuisine, the restaurant is importing sake from the Hokusetsu House brewery on the northern Japanese Isle of Sado. And for pre- or post-dinner drinks, the hotel’s Bar Long has a Nobu-inspired menu of Asian cocktails, like Passionfruit martinis. For more information, visit www.raffles.com/paris
