"No Sleep Till Brooklyn." The song—and lyric—made famous by the Beastie Boys. Now Brooklynites can sleep in before going out to shop. Because now they wont even have to trek across the bridge to Manhattan to buy all the hot styles. We hear that Barneys Co-Op is opening in Cobble Hill on Atlantic Avenue at Court Street. The store is scheduled to open in September, just in time for Fashion’s Night Out, the global celebration of fashion September 10. From Fashionista: "We’ve got our own Steven Alan annex, an outpost of mini chain Bird–known for stocking plenty of my favorite contemporary labels, from Acne to Isabel Marant–and Eva Gentry’s boutique, which was originally called Butter. It sells lots of Rick Owens, Helmut Lang and Ann Demeulemeester." Looks like a good time for a girlfriend getaway to BK!
