A Passover Seder with a Twist

March 10, 2010 By: Meagan Drillinger

This year New York City hotel Tabla is celebrating Passover with its fifth annual Unleavened Bread Bar, an Indian-spiced Passover Seder to be held on March 30.

Executive Chef Floyd Cardoz will be fusing his signature New Indian style with traditional Passover favorites. Some of the menu highlights include matzoh ball soup with toasted coriander, kerala banana leaf wrapped fish patties, goan spiced brisket and walnut orange cake with orange clove sorbet.

Burt Fendelmen, a Tabla regular, will lead the Passover service. The evening begins at 6 p.m. and is priced at $95 per person. Seating for children 10 and under is $50.

For tickets call (212) 889-0667.
