February 16, 2010 By: Meagan Drillinger

This April traditional Thai techniques are taking a tour of China. Guests staying at the Four Seasons Hong Kong will be able to experience Thai spa treatments as visiting therapists from Four Seasons' properties in Chiang Mai and Golden Triangle showcase their treatments.

From April 19 through May 2, take advantage of the following treatments:

Traditional Thai massage: Thai massage stimulates energy flow and replenishes peace by stretching the muscles and applying pressure along the body's energy lines.

Orient blend massage: Focusing on pressure points, this treatment relieves aches, pains and tension. It also uses aroma therapy and gentle kneading.

Muanjai Lanna massage: This aromatic massage combines acupressure, kneading massage and percussion along the energy lines of the back.

Chiang Mai samunprai: Samunprai uses organic poultices filled with herbs in order to relieve muscle aches and bruises. By opening the pores the technique works to revitalize the body.

Honey sesame Thai scrub: Using honey, sesame seeds and a bit of lime scent, this treatment invigorates the body. The whole treatment is capped off with vanilla body moisturizer.

Yothai facial: Designed for sensitive and aging skin, this treatment uses a combination of pandan leaf and pink lotus to smooth out lines and wrinkles.

Lanna sabai ritual: The treatment to top all others, this one combines the honey sesame Thai scrub, Orient blend massage and yothai facial for a complete recharge.
