Chef Joël Robuchon to Open Restaurant in Geneva

Geneva’s Hotel President Wilson may be known for its Royal Penthouse Suite—one of the most expensive in the world—but this landmark hotel on Lake Geneva has other claims to fame: fine dining experiences by chef Michel Roth and a spa by legendary brand La Mer. And soon, Joël Robuchon—the chef with the most Michelin stars in the world (31)—will be moving onto the premises.

The Daily Meal reports that he plans to open an outpost of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at Hotel President Wilson in 2018. Other locations can be found all over the world: Paris, London, Las Vegas, New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Robuchon may have left the prestigious Grande Maison de Bordeaux last year, but the ambitious chef continues to expand his restaurant empire.

Robuchon is not limiting his sights to Switzerland; he’ll also be opening new versions of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in New York and Miami in 2017, followed by a Restaurant Tradition Joël Robuchon at the Hôtel Karl Lagerfeld in Macao in 2018.
