Conrad Maldives Rangali Island Completes Undersea Residence

Starting later this month, visitors to Conrad Maldives Rangali Island will have the opportunity to spend the night watching the fish underwater in the unique Muraka residence. The one-of-a-kind luxury accommodations will also offer a menu of experiences that guests can choose from, including a filmed ocean dive or snorkel trip, a cooking class with a professional chef and more.

The resort titled the first of these options The Wanderers. Guests will take a guided ocean dive or snorkel trip to see the reef ecosystem outside the walls of their bedroom. The whole experience will be taped by a film crew and participants will have the opportunity to narrate over the footage, creating their own undersea film.

Visitors can also choose to swim the reefs at night with The Thrill experience. Guided by trained professionals, guests will be able to observe glowing plankton and other nocturnal wildlife.

Guests can also choose The Flavors experience. Participants will be taken to the resort’s Ufaa restaurant, run by celebrity chef Jereme Leung, where one of Leung’s chefs will lead them in a cooking class. The last of the Muraka experiences, The Soul, is a wellness-focused experience that leads visitors in meditation and yoga exercises.

Elsewhere at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, the resort will soon finish redeveloping its 42 Deluxe Beach Villas. Each of the villas is set within the tropical flora and fauna of the island and has private beach access.
