La Costa Resort Debuts Redesigned Guest Rooms

La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, CA has enhanced itself with the debut of newly redesigned guest rooms and suites. Featuring a color palette of blues, greens and terra cotta and inspired by La Costa’s outdoor scenery, the new rooms are light, bright and have an upgraded elegance to them. Richer fabrics and new artwork add to the new design.

We hear the guest room color palette for the Fairway, Courtside and Plaza guestrooms and suites is fresher and more inviting than before, playing off of the La Costa blue and cream with pops of terra cotta and gold.

The color palette reflects the architecture, water and flora found on the property. Many elements in the guest rooms, from casegoods to fabrics, also pick up the quatrefoil pattern as seen in the many fountains on the property. Other elements have been added to make guests more comfortable, such as outlets adjacent to the beds and desks for cell phones or laptops, reading lights at the beds and two desk chairs in most rooms for easier in-room dining.

The resort’s signature La Costa Rooms have their own color palette focusing on soft greens and creams with hints of Day Lily Gold. These rooms blend the outdoors with the indoors. The marble bathroom features an oversized soaking tub, separate shower, dual vanities and is stocked with signature La Costa Coco Mango spa amenities. Note: Many La Costa Rooms offer private patios.

Deborah Forrest of design firm Forrest Perkins spearheaded the project.
