Las Vegas Hilton’s Conrad Sky Villa
Las Vegas Hilton’s Conrad Sky Villa has its very own courtyard and private pool.

Don’t look now, but the Las Vegas Hilton has some of the most over-the-top suites in all of Las Vegas. The hotel’s three Sky Villas are evidence. The largest of these is Verona, which, at 15,400 square feet, incorporates old-world Venice into every detail—from imported Italian marble floors to hand-painted ceilings to the original sculptures, tapestries and paintings that adorn the walls. The focus of the Verona is the vast living area that leads to the secluded master retreat overlooking the private, outdoor pool and garden. Note: Featured on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, the palatial Verona comes with three bedrooms and has a sculpted observation deck.

Tuscany, at 13,200 square feet, is the second largest of the Sky Villas. It has four bedrooms and features elaborate detail from its custom wall and ceiling murals to its Italian marble floors and stonework. The lavish courtyard and pool are the focus of the Northern Italian-inspired masterpiece.

We say the most unique of the Sky Villas is the 12,600-square-foot Conrad, which redefines French elegance. The two-story, three-bedroom Conrad has an oversized formal dining room and living room that both open to a grand courtyard and pool. The upstairs master retreat connects to a terrace that overlooks the pool and affords some of the most breathtaking views of the city and surrounding mountains.

If your clients are looking for something a bit more understated, the Hilton’s 29th-floor Classic Suites fit the bill. Here, the hotel has themed accommodations such as the Gold Coast Suite, with its African motif and furnishings, well-equipped butler’s kitchen, granite-tile floors and two-person Jacuzzi. Top View: Looking down the Strip from the comfort of the king-size bed in the step-up master bedroom stirs the senses.

The two-bedroom Hollywood Suite, once reserved exclusively for movie stars, is now open to the public. Decorated in classic black tones and accented with elegant dark granite counter and tabletops, this 2,600-square-foot showcase comes with great views of the Strip from every room. Note: Glass tabletops and classic furniture give it the feel of something out of a Tinseltown blockbuster. The master bedroom has a raised, king-size bed and a large and inviting Jacuzzi just two steps away.

The two-bedroom Regal Suite is perfect for guests who wish to turn host to friends and clients. You can treat your visitors like royalty in this 2,600-square-foot suite with herringbone wooden floors and furniture reminiscent of European castles. Guests enter through wood-framed doors that lead into the spacious entertainment area perfect for mixing and mingling. The butler’s kitchen is accented by granite countertops and equipped with a refrigerator. Adding to the stately ambiance is a hardwood dining-room table and a round granite-top table in the luminescent sunroom. Note: Every window in this suite has stunning panoramic vistas of the mountains, downtown Las Vegas and the historical Las Vegas Country Club golf course.

Other themed accommodations in the Classic Suites collection include the Bahama Suite, the Renaissance, the Desert Suite and the Santa Fe Suite. Butler service is available in all suites. Contact Sales Manager Joy Burns ([email protected]; 702-732-5879) for reservations and more information.

Ready to rock? With the opening of its all-suite HRH Tower in December, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has upped its game a notch. Each of the 359 Standard Suites has an integrated wet bar, sitting area and suite bathroom with cast-iron tubs. All suites also have a Sound Matters Sound Bar—an AMX 12-inch touch panel music system with iPod dock that contains more than 2,000 songs, as well as two 40-inch Sony Bravia LCD TVs with DVD players.

Hard Rock HOtel’s Nirvana Suite
Hard Rock HOtel’s Nirvana Suite has a private outside beach area with plunge pool.

The sleeping area boasts a white lacquer wall headboard with button-tufted and quilted leather pairs and a custom stiletto light fixture to highlight the custom mahogany and leather sleigh bed. The designer bedding and blackout drapes made of raw linen silk with metallic sheers ensure a deep rest no matter how late in the day it is.

The 148-square-foot bath area is enclosed with drapes and tinted glass, and the black porcelain tile and Chinese marble accentuate the custom bath vanity, in-shower seat and cast-iron “Tea for Two” tubs. Grohe bath fixtures throughout include rain-head shower and handheld wands.

Beyond the Standard Suites are eight Spa Villas opening directly to the pool areas, and seven Penthouses on the 16th floor offering panoramic views of the Strip and mountains. The view inside these rooms is spectacular, too, with such touches as glass-enclosed, walk-through showers for two (or more), dramatic flourishes in glass and marble throughout and private balconies with pools/hot tubs. Each of these has a unique but subtle theme that reflects its name, such as Altered States and Nirvana. Luxury travel advisors should contact Travel Industry Sales Manager Katja Spitz ([email protected]) with queries.

Open since December in the CityCenter complex is ARIA, the latest luxury entry from the MGM Mirage group.
Here, the suites combine high-tech touches with sleek elegance and unparalleled comfort and views. Top of the line are the Sky Villas, ranging in size from 2,000 to 7,000 square feet and offering both two- and three-bedroom, as well as single- and two-story retreats. These are limited, so guests may opt for one of ARIA’s Sky Suites, which take the shape of One- and Two-Bedroom ARIA Suites as well as One- and Two-Bedroom Penthouses—all of which include separate living areas.

All of ARIA’s top accommodations include alternative-fuel limo transport from the airport, private check-in, snack and drink in the exclusive ARIA Sky Suites lounge and a private-key elevator that takes guests to their suite. ARIA’s exclusive one-touch in-room technology allows rooms to recognize guests’ first entry and “greet” them; light fills the room, curtains part to show the view and the LCD TV turns on to display a list of automated controls for guests to personalize.

To learn more about ARIA’s suite accommodations, contact Gail Fitzgerald ([email protected]; 702-590-7388), vice president of sales and marketing.
