At the W Scottsdale’s Living Room, Lounge & Bar (essentially the hotel’s lobby), guests can enjoy libations from the new draft cocktail menu. The menu is full of classics like the Sazerac, French75, and Old Fashioned but the specialty cocktails caught our eye – specifically the Around the Way.

- 1.5 oz St George Green Chile Vodka
- .5 oz Yellow Chartreuse
- .75 oz lemon juice
- .5 oz strawberry puree
Garnish: dehydrated lemon wheel; you can also add strawberries
A few of the Living Room’s other signature drinks include: the Urban Bourban, made with Woodford Reserve, Gabriel Williams Pear Liqueur, Prosecco, star anise, and lemon; the Scottsdale Blonde, which is Ketel One Citroen, rooibos tea & rosemary syrup, bitters, and club soda; and the Hot Line Sling, a concoction of Del Maguey Vida, Cherry Gerring, Cointreau, Benedectine, lime, pineapple, and bitters.
The Living Room is located indoors and offers a trendy and lively ambiance where hotel guests and locals can mix and mingle until the late hours of the evening (read: early hours of the morning). Note: the official closing of the Living Room is 2 a.m.
Guests also have the option of receiving VIP bottle service to their reserved table. The Living Room transforms into Living Room Live four nights a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) with live music by local and national recording artists.
Also available at the W Scottsdale (for a change of scenery) are the Shade Lounge, with desert-inspired water and fire design, and WET Pool deck, where guests receive their own personal poolside server will bring you delicious finger foods and a chilled beverage. Good to know: there are 13 private cabanas, complete with the signature W robes, slippers, flat screen TV, individually controlled sound, and internet.
