Mystique Blue Boutique Suites, a beachfront resort located within the Yum Balam nature reserve on Mexico's Isla Holbox, launched on Friday, November 2.
Mystique Resorts says the hotel is located within one of Mexico’s most pristine and secluded destinations that is nearly uninhabited. It is home to exotic birds and local vegetation that inspired the resort’s design. With 38 suites to choose from guests can experience amenities including balconies with nest-style seats, 55" satellite TVs, unlimited Wi-Fi connectivity and custom cotton mattresses.
The design is inspired by Isla Holbox itself. Mystique Resorts says the resort celebrates the beauty of nature through its décor.
Guests can bike up and down the island's car-free roads, see exotic birds, interact with local fisherman and explore the Yum Balam, a protected nature reserve found within the 26-mile island. The resort's concierge is available to book off-property excursions, be it kayaking through the mangroves, learning to kiteboard or swimming with the whale sharks that frequent the waters surrounding the island from May to September.
