Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is set to open June 30. Located on Talamanca Bay, it will be SLH’s first property on the Ibizan Coast.
The hotel has an Ibizan-style design (think: natural wood, artisan ceramics, mother-of-pearl inlay, and hand-blown pendant lights) in each of the 152 guestrooms and suites. The Presidential and Royal Suites have terraces overlooking the Mediterranean, an outdoor Jacuzzi, living room and private bar. Accommodation options vary from Cool and Deluxe rooms to Junior and Grand Suites.
Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay also has two private seafront pools, a spa, a boutique, and four restaurants and a pool bar, where are no fixed schedules – breakfast is served at guests’ leisure and lunches are served into the nights.
Food and beverage options include:
- Nobu – The signature restaurant. Nobu Matsuhisa’s menu consists of his Japanese fusion dishes in addition to Ibiza-inspired plates.
- Chambao – Made in collaboration with El Chiringuito de Es Cavallet; Hotel Ibiza Bay’s laidback “chiringuito,” serving drinks and fresh seafood.
- The Peyote Group will be bringing a contemporary and refined take on Mexican food.
- Celicioso will serve healthy fare from gluten-free cuisine to nourishing juices to “superfood” salads.
Ibiza Bay brings the first Six Senses Spa to the island. There will be signature and anti-aging treatments, innovative fitness workouts, and manicures at the healthy juice and nail bar. Guests will also have access to private beach cabanas.
The Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay’s Kids Club will offer bohemian foraging sessions, cookery school, Ibiza-inspired programs, and more.
From its location on Talamanca Bay, Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay is a five-minute drive into town (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and a fifteen-minute walk from Marina Botafoch, home to trendy boutiques and clubs.
