Opening in Vietnam: JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort

January will see the debut of a buzzworthy new resort on the island of Phu Quoc, situated off the southern coast of Vietnam. Located on a private beach, the JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa has 243 rooms, suites and villas designed by Bangkok-based architect Bill Bensley, famed for high-end hotel projects like Four Seasons Chiang Mai, St. Regis Bali and the upcoming Capella Ubud.

There will be three F&B outlets (including the Department of Chemistry Bar) and expansive meeting/events space for both weddings and corporate summits. Facilities include a Spa by JW, a fitness center, and a children’s club. If you tire of lounging by the outdoor pools, there will be a number of recreational activities including tennis, biking, plus kayaking and boating from the beach.

This is JW Marriott’s second hotel in Vietnam after the JW Marriott Hanoi. Other new JW Marriott locations include Austin, Venice, Chengdu, Los Cabos and Marco Island.
