Robert Rechtermann has been appointed the very first general manager of the Conrad New York, which is scheduled to debut later this year. In this debut position, Rechtermann will be in charge of managing staff, operations, sales and budgeting at the property.
A 25-year veteran of the industry, Rechtermann has held positions at The Peninsula Hotels for the last five years, where he served as the general manager of The Peninsula New York. His tenure with Peninsula kicked off in 2006 at the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago.
