When it comes to drinks of choice in Mexico, an aged Don Julio on the rocks or a cold Tecate might first come to mind.

But Secrets The Vine Cancun is doing something a little different; the hotel is centered around the theme of wine. Case in point: The hotel is home to a 4,500-bottle wine cellar where guests are led by sommeliers for daily, complimentary wine tastings every afternoon.

Along with wine-themed paintings scattered around the resort, each guest room also comes with a bottle of wine native to Mexico. Nice Touch: The 13,000-square-foot Secrets Spa by Pevonia also incorporates wine into most of its treatments. It uses tropical ingredients, anti-aging elements and wine-infused indulgences to awaken the senses. Hint: Buyouts and in-room group treatments are available at the spa.

For all spa requests or to book a treatment, contact Maragarita Cohuo ([email protected]), spa director.
