Now Open: Mandarin Oriental Milan

Mandarin Oriental Milan

At long last, the Mandarin Oriental Milan has opened its doors. This is one of the most hotly anticipated hotel debuts of the year, and we’ve been eagerly awaiting its arrival in Italy’s fashion capital. Situated in four 18th century buildings not far from La Scala, the famous opera house, the hotel has 104 guestrooms and suites which are billed as the most spacious accommodations in the city.

Enticements include a six-room spa, the Mandarin bar, and the talked-about restaurant called Seta, overseen by Executive Chef Antonio Guida, formerly of the Tuscan hot spot Il Pellicano, which holds two Michelin stars.

To celebrate the opening, the Mandarin Oriental Milan is promoting two special offers. Experience Milan includes luxury accommodation, and a dining or spa credit of up to $328 per stay. The Mandarin Oriental Milan is also offering guests exclusive access to EXPO MILANO 2015, the Universal exhibition, with a Taste of Expo package which includes a two-night stay, fast pass tickets to the big event, return transfers, and a complimentary “Aperitivo Gourmet” at the Mandarin Bar.
