How to Celebrate the Holidays—Icefest at Columbus Circle

Halloween is over, which means the Holidays have finally come to New York. (Why wait for Thanksgiving, after all?)

The Big Apple’s first major holiday attraction of the season, the inaugural “IceFest on the Circle, ” will run from November 15-18 at Time Warner Center. Visitors can see five eight-foot tall ice sculptures being sculpted live; entertainment; food and beverages inspired by the season and infused with Canadian ingredients; and special offers from The Shops at Columbus Circle.

“IceFest on the Circle” is produced in partnership with Ottawa Tourism and Ontario Canada Tourism. The event features ice sculptors and entertainment direct from Winterlude, Ottawa’s annual winter celebration that welcomes nearly 700,000 people. “IceFest on the Circle” visitors will also have a chance to win a trip to Ottawa for Winterlude 2013.

Icefest on the Circle runs November 15-18, 2012, 10 am to 9 pm, Thursday thru Saturday; and 11 am to 7 pm on Sunday.
