Capella Hotels and Resorts has named Alex Obertop the general manager for the soon-to-open Capella Washington D.C.
Obertop comes to the role from the Breidenbacher Hof in Dusseldorf, Germany. In his new roll, he will oversee pre-opening activities such as promotions, marketing endeavors and generating interest in key domestic and international markets. He will also be responsible for directing the property's Capella Personal Assistants.
Capella Washington D.C. will debut early next year.
