Well, it's the moment D.C. has been waiting for. Capella Hotels and Resorts has (finally) opened Capella Washington D.C.
The grand unveiling happened on April 3, when guests attended a ribbon cutting ceremony and heard welcome remarks from Horst Schulze, Chairman and CEO of Capella Hotels and Resorts.
The intimate hotel has just 49 rooms and was inspired by the history of American architecture. Guests of the property are entitled to Capella Personal Assistants 24 hours a day. There is also a complimentary refreshment center, complimentary laundry pressing service of up to five pieces, complimentary Wi-Fi and more.
We love The Grill Room and The Rye Bar, which are sure to sweep the D.C. scene. The Grill Room specializes in bone-in, artisanal meats, seafood and tableside preparations. The Rye Bar is serving up rare rye whiskeys, cocktails and a specialty menu of bar snacks.
