Rosewood Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands is celebrating 50 years, and doing so in style. We hear the resort has unveiled five brand-new Tree House Suite accommodations just in time for the anniversary.

The Tree House Suites are the rebirth of the iconic, stilted Tree House Cottages, originally built by Laurance S. Rockefeller, Rosewood Little Dix Bay’s founder and designer.

The suites’ interiors feature Virgin Gorda design elements set in almost 1,000 square feet of interior living space. The enhanced bathrooms feature dual vanities, a separate tub and indoor shower, as well as an outdoor shower.

Getting There: BVI Airways earlier this year closed on its sale to a New York-based merchant bank, possibly fueling it with more capital for a fleet and route expansion throughout the Eastern Caribbean. Great for jetsetting, we say.
