The Pierre, A Taj Hotel in New York (and the U.S. flagship for Taj Hotels) has partnered with designer Stephanie Van Watzdorf and her luxury brand, Figue, for a unique New York Fashion Week perk.
For the first week of September, the hotel's Two E Bar/Lounge will be remade into the pop-up Figue Lounge. Mannequins personally styled by Von Watzdorf will be positioned throughout the lounge to highlight the Fall 2014 ‘Luxe Nomad’ collection. Bonus: The lounge will also display fragrant Figue aromatherapy candles.
For libations at the bar, guests can try a limited-time only Figue-a-tini cocktail, a blend of Fig infused Vodka with Grapefruit, Lemon Juice, and Cassis. Snacks will include Front Row Deviled Eggs, Hudson Valley Foie Gras Parfait with Portwine Jelly, Curried Main Lobster & Lotus Chips and more. A miniature haute couture dessert flight features Sago-tini, a Coconut & Sago Martini with Crenshaw Melon Sorbet; Doughnut Peach Mojito with Ricotta Cream, Peach Mojito Sorbet, Fresh Mint, Blueberry Ginger Sauce; and Upstate Farms Raspberry-Mary with Verbena Raspberry Crush, Lemongrass Black Pepper Sorbet & Toasted Cake Croutons
