Seattle's scene is about to get a dose of luxury. We hear that Commune Hotels & Resorts plans to open a mixed-use development that will include the Thompson Seattle.
Currently projected to open in 2016, Thompson Seattle will be located at 1st Avenue and Stewart Street. The building will stand 12 stories and will have views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountain Range. The hotel itself will have 159 guest rooms, 97 residences, a signature restaurant concept, parking and 1,600 square feet of retail space. There will also be a rooftop deck with 9,500 square feet of indoor/outdoor space.
The mixed-use development will also include residential and retail components and will be located adjacent to Pike Place Market.
