Three Luxury Hotels to Debut in Myanmar and China

Luxury is rising over in Asia, as a trio luxury hotels are on the docket for debut. 

First up in Myanmar, Pan Pacific Hotels has announced the opening of PARKROYAL Nay Pyi Taw today. The 180-room hotel opens with 90 rooms, with the remainder expected to be fully operational by the end of the year. Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts announced the signing of a management agreement for a new luxury hotel, the Dusit Thani Fudu Qingfeng Hotel in Changzhou, China. The hotel is expected to be rebranded in May. Changzhou is about 40 minutes from Shanghai by high-speed train. The hotel will have 88 rooms and suites. Dining options include Tian Xiang Lou Chinese restaurant, Coffee Garden all-day dining restaurant, Lobby Lounge and Centro Bar. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, a gym and an AV room. Meanwhile, Kerzner International Holdings Limited has kicked off construction on what is to be the first One&Only resort in China. Located in Sanya on Haitang Bay (Chinese Riviera, anyone?) the resort will have 192 guest rooms, suites and villas. One&Only Sanya's accommodations will range from two- to four-bedroom private villas and a Presidential suite to executive suites and guest rooms, to be situated within either the main Manor House or Mansions. The six private villas, offering either two, three or four bedrooms, will have private pools and barbecue areas. Each villa will welcome guests through a courtyard, which leads to a living and dining area, opening to a  terrace. Private outdoor living areas will include day beds, chaise lounges and dining al fresco. The Manor House rooms will all have a separate seating area and a terrace or balcony overlooking the South China Sea. The resort will house a One&Only Spa and fitness center, as well as meeting spaces, a kids club and a range of sporting and entertainment facilities.
