Maldives Divine: Jumeirah to Open Resort in the Maldives
November 9, 2010 By: Meagan Drillinger
It's tough to be anything but luxe in the Maldives, which is why we weren't surprised when we learned that Jumeirah Group is ready to make their first Maldives foray. The group has unveiled the new brand name of its first resort currently under way: Jumeirah Dhevanafushi.
Slated to open in 2011, the resort will be comprised of 22 island villas, as well as an exclusive water village, called the Hermitage Collection, including 16 ocean villas that are separated from the main land.
The villas are spaciously sized, measuring 2,152 square feet to 6,458 square feet. There will also be a resort restaurant and bar as well as a Talise Spa with over-water treatment rooms.
