Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa in Malta Offers Pet-Friendly Perks

Heading to Malta? Can't bear to leave your fur-baby behind? (We understand.) Here's some good news: The Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa has launched “Palace Pups,” a new pet-friendly hotel program.

The details: The hotel has “designated rooms where pets can stay with their owners, specialized pet facilities, and even a safe space in the garden where dogs can run off the leash," David Woodward, general manager for the hotel, said in a statement.

“Of course, we have also kept our non-pet-owning guests in mind every step of the way. Visiting pets must be kept on a leash when in the public areas, and will only be able to join their owners in ‘doggie designated’ parts of the hotel.” The program has already increased the number of guests visiting with their pets, he added.

The hotel offers a variety of facilities to its canine visitors, including:

  • Doggie check-in
  • Complimentary in-room facilities including bowls, a bed, treats and toys
  • A doggie room service menu, with fresh foods available that are all cooked up by the hotel’s chefs
  • Dog-walking and dog-sitting facilities
  • Dog massages and grooming

Additionally, for every pet visitor, the hotel will be making a donation to a local dog sanctuary.
