Paradisus Riviera Cancun has a wealth of family amenities.
At Le Méridien Cancun Resort & Spa, the best accommodation is the Presidential Suite, which boasts a master bedroom with a Jacuzzi, living room, dining room and a 32-inch, flat-screen TV. Hint: We recommend the room for small private dinners and receptions because it has 2,000 square feet of space and a 300-square-foot balcony.
Luxury Travel Advisor toured room No. 626, a Deluxe Room, and room No. 802, a Méridien Suite. The latter has a balcony, a separate bedroom with a king-size bed or double beds and a separate living room with two sofas. The Deluxe Room was also impressive, comprised of a balcony, the option of either two double beds or one king-size bed and a 32-inch flat-screen TV.

Nice Touch: At check-in, the front desk provides kids a coloring book with crayons, a penguin-shaped hat and baked cookies.
For mom and dad, the hotel also houses a 14-treatment-room spa, where two of the rooms are for couples’ massages. There’s also a steam room and a relaxation room.
Note: The Penguin Club offers creative activities and aquatic games for children aged four to 12 and is supervised by staff. Games and activities include piñata making, sand painting, sand-castle building, face painting, bracelet making and shell hunting.

Another family-friendly option is The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, where families can opt for a wide selection of connecting rooms with great views of the ocean.
Tip: We recommend suite No. 6033 and its connecting room (No. 6032) with two double beds. Note: As a rule of thumb here, rooms ending in 33 are suites and those ending in 32 are connecting rooms.
For parents traveling with infants, the “Itzy, Bitzy, Ritz Kids Rooms” are the best available. They offer safety-approved cribs, changing tables, a TV armoire positioned to not disturb babies at naptime, miniature hangers in the closet that fit an infant’s wardrobe, a telephone programmed to light up rather than ring and a “Shh, baby is sleeping” sign that can be hung on the door to caution others.
Ritz-Carlton, Cancun’s Itzy, Bitzy, Ritz Kids Room is ideal for parents bringing their infants on vacation.
Note: While visiting the Culinary Center at The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, families can learn a new and entertaining way to approach food and wine in a kitchen overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Paradisus Riviera Cancun Resort offers 14 three-story bungalows with 494 large suites. Tell your VIPs to stay in one of the property’s Family Concierge Suites, where clients are treated to a private family check-in; Paradise Kids Beach-kit upon check-in with a hat and T-shirt and beach toys; daily assistance of the family concierge until 6 p.m.; a walkie-talkie for all-day communication; Kids Club and Club 4 admittance; exclusive family activities and sports, such as massages, swimming classes, water sports classes and other family-focused amenities.
Top Table: The resort offers seven dining options but we say the best spots are Capri or the Reef Grill. Tip: For a romantic dinner for mom and dad, recommend L’Hermitage, the adults-only French restaurant.
