60 Thompson to Reemerge as SIXTY SoHo

Following a multi-million dollar renovation, iconic Manhattan hotel 60 Thompson will rebrand and reemerge as SIXTY SoHo.

Following the transformation, SIXTY SoHo will reopen as an approachable hotel in downtown Manhattan that gives off the air of a private home. It combines boho-chic and modern elegance with a vintage vibe.

All 97 rooms now have planked timber floors with leather furnishings. Artist Harland Miller has been commissioned by SIXTY SoHo to create original pieces for the guest rooms. The rooms include 10 suites with French balconies overlooking SoHo. The three SIXTY Suites have separate living rooms and the duplex SIXTY Loft has an expansive private roof deck with views over Manhattan.

SIXTY SoHo will also debut a new food and beverage outlet as part of a collaboration with New York City restaurateur John McDonald (Lure Fishbar, B&B Winepub, El Toro Blanco, Bowery Meat Company). McDonald and team will open Sessanta, a casual restaurant serving coastal Italian fare, which will open in 2015.
