Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed more details of the new ship it will add to its fleet in the summer of 2016. The all-suite Seven Seas Explorer will sail with only 750 passengers. The ship will have glass staircases, marble flooring in the lobby and a crystal chandelier.

The 3,875-square-foot Regent Suite has a spa set-up with sauna and steam room. However, the best amenity in this suite is the outdoor, glass-enclosed deck called the Vista Garden. This seating area gives guests a 270-degree view over the ship’s bow.

Regent’s signature steakhouse, Prime 7, will be aboard the new ship along with other restaurants, including Compass Rose and La Veranda. Compass Rose will act as the ship’s main dining room, and Italian-inspired dishes will be served at La Veranda buffet-style during the day. At dinner, La Veranda will become Sette Mari at La Veranda for a fine-dining experience.

The ship will have various entertainment options. The 694-seat Constellation Theater will have cabaret-style seating with cocktail tables intermixed. The Observation Lounge gets inspiration from the Roaring Twenties with a signature bar, dance floor, floor-to-ceiling windows and rich color scheme. Lastly, the Explorer Lounge is a more relaxed setting with wood accents, leather chairs and a stage for live music.

The maiden voyage of the Seven Seas Explorer will be a 14-night cruise from Monte Carlo to Venice on July 20, 2016. The ship will remain in Europe for the rest of the season. Reservations are now open for the new ship.
