andBeyond Names Andre Joubert Lodge Manager

andBeyond has announced that Andre Joubert has joined the team as lodge manager at andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge in Botswana. 

Joubert is originally from East London, located in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. After working in the U.K. for two years, he completed his Bachelors of Commerce in international hospitality management through Stenden International in Port Alfred, South Africa. As part of the program, he held a six-month internship at the St. Francis Links just outside St. Francis Bay and continued on for another year as the assistant F&B manager. 

In 2012, Joubert worked as front office manager at La Residence in Franschoek before moving to Ellerman House in Cape Town as senior assistant manager. He moved onto Fregate Island in the Seychelles in October, 2016 as rooms division manager. There he managed housekeeping and the front office with attention to rooms and guest areas of the 494-acre island. 

andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is located in Northern Botswana and houses twelve suites, private plunge pools, gym, and a private wilderness concession. The lodge offers day and night time safaris, nature walks, close proximity to local wildlife, and off-road game sightings. 
 
It was named Botswana’s Leading Safari Lodge at the Annual World Travel Awards 2011 through 2014 and received TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for Consistent 5.0 ratings in 2013.
