Canyon Ranch named Anne Latkovic VP of sales for Tucson, Lenox, Miami and Las Vegas. Latkovic was director of sales and marketing for The St. Regis Monarch Beach; she replaces Roxanne Housley.
The St. Regis Princeville Resort on Kauai has named Paige Cabacungan director of sales and marketing. Cabacungan was with the Westin Maui Resort & Spa and the Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort and Villas.
Regent Hotels & Resorts will open the Regent Porto Montenegro in May 2014. Originally an Austro-Hungarian naval base, Porto Montenegro has become a popular destination for tourists, yacht owners and celebrities. The 80-room hotel will have 45 suites.
The Dorchester in London named John Scanlon hotel manager. Scanlon was director of revenue for parent company Dorchester Collection and was previously with The Lanesborough as deputy to the managing director. Reporting to GM and regional director UK, Roland Fasel, Scanlon will oversee all hotel operations at The Dorchester.
Grace Bay Resorts named John Vasatka GM for the all-inclusive Veranda Resort. Vasatka previously worked with five Amanresorts across the globe. He was also resident manager at Little Dix Bay and GM of the Boca Beach Club at Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, FL.
