Asilia Africa Opens Namiri Plains

Safari enthusiasts will be able to combine exploring the African desert landscape with luxurious accommodation at Asilia Africa’s newest camp in the Serengeti, Namiri Plains

After being closed for the past twenty years to create a safe haven for cheetah, the plains are once again open to the public. Guests will able to enjoy the camps secluded location set 45 miles from their closest neighbor. With only six tents, visitors will be able to choose between king or two twin beds, en suite bathrooms, hot buckets showers and modern furnishings. Ecoco Natural have created am exclusive bath line for visitors to the camp containing the purest organic essential oils and extracts.

During the day guests can partake in the twice daily game drives, which includes viewing ancient animal fossils or they can learn about the academic cheetah research.
