It’s not too early to start thinking about the ski season! This year will mark Ojai Valley Inn & Spa’s 90th anniversary. To celebrate, the California resort has launched an extravagant package with sister property The Little Nell in Aspen offering six nights of heli-skiing, spa and golf.
Guests will begin their “From the Mountains to the Valley” experience at The Little Nell in Aspen. They will enjoy three nights in the hotel’s 2,000 sq. ft. two-bedroom Pfeiffer Suite, daily breakfast at element 47, lift tickets to Aspen Snowmass’ four mountains, ski/snowboard rentals and early/exclusive access to Aspen Mountain. The Pfeiffer Suite will be completely remodeled this fall at the hands of renowned designer Holly Hunt and will feature custom pieces, stone fireplaces and modern Western touches throughout. In addition, on one of the mornings, guests will board a private helicopter to Silverton, Colorado, for an exciting eight-hour excursion of guided expert-level heli-skiing at the highest skiable elevation in Colorado, complete with a gourmet picnic lunch and wines paired by one of the hotel’s master sommeliers.
From Aspen, the guests will be flown by private jet to Ojai Valley, California, a setting just 75 miles northwest of Los Angele that is so beautiful, it stood in for Shangri-La in Frank Capra’s classic 1937 movie “Lost Horizon.” At the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, they will enjoy three nights in the resort’s two 1,500 sq.ft.
