Cape Town's Table Bay Hotel Hotel Gets New General Manager

Some exciting news from Cape Town: Sun International Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Shaun Wheeler as the new general manager of The Table Bay Hotel.
Wheeler has more than 17 years experience in the hospitality industry, and certainly knows South Africa—and Africa in general—very well. He joins Sun International from The Intercontinental Hotel Group where he was general manager of the five-star Intercontinental Johannesburg and Intercontinental Taba Heights Resort in Egypt. Prior to that, Wheeler held the same position at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel in Durban.
He is also no stranger to Sun International, having held management positions at various properties, including the Fish River Sun, Wild Coast Sun, Sun City Hotel and The Palace of the Lost City. In 2002, he was appointed general manager of Zimbali Lodge, a former Sun International property.
