Luxury Safari Camps at 2010 World Cup
January 14, 2010 By: Meagan Drillinger
We are eagerly awaiting the first game of the 2010 World Cup, which kicks off in South Africa on June 11.
Uncharted Africa Safari Co. will be onsite during the games setting up their famous luxury safari camps at the Cradle of Humankind near Johannesburg. This will give spectators a chance to combine great national rivalry with viewing of some of the world's most exotic animals. The Cradle of Humankind is home to over 30 mammal species such as rhino, giraffe, warthog and kudu.
Four camps will be set up, each accommodating 24 guets. The tents, while evoking a sense of old-world charm, are equipped with modern amenities like 64-inch plasma televisions, Wi-Fi, and hair dryers.
A minimum of three nights is required.
