Bristol Panama Opens Rooftop Spa

Bristol Panama has announced the opening of its first spa, The Spa at Bristol. The space opened on the hotel’s topmost floor, a move said to “provide heavenly relaxation with sweeping views of metropolitan Panama City”.

The Spa at Bristol is part of the Bristol Panama’s tower expansion, which opened in late 2011 with 111 rooms, suites, condominiums and a range of luxury amenities. As the leading Panamanian-owned hotel in the city, Bristol Panama offers space for guests to experience spa treatments and modern techniques accented by ancient and holistic traditions.

The Spa at Bristol combines organic elements and innovative products to deliver spa journeys, including a Shiatsu Facial, Obsidian Stone Healing massage, or a full-body treatment.

Ancient civilizations considered gold to be the sun’s tears, believing its properties would foster a calm and wise mind. Silver, considered an energy conduit from the moon, emphasized the feminine side of life. These two tones come together in the spa’s décor.

The Spa features four individual treatment rooms, one couples’ treatment room, one vichy shower, men and women’s steam rooms, and a full-service beauty salon. Waiting areas for men and women provide panoramic views of Panama City .

A variety of massages, facials, wraps, body polishes and couples rituals are available, as well as vichy shower rainforest treatments that evoke Panama’s landscape. A full-service salon provides hair and nail beauty treatments, as well as male grooming options.

A range of men’s massages and treatments are also available. Teenagers can enjoy specially designed facials and massages for younger skin.

Bristol Panama is located in the heart of the financial center of Panama City. Featuring 56 original guest rooms and suites, this city hotel expanded in May 2012 to include 111 new rooms, suites and luxury condominiums, as well as new dining options and five-star amenities.
