Spa Buzz: Kiehl's to Open Spa in New York's Upper East Side

Here's some great news for spa fans in New York: Racked, a shopping-themed website, is reporting that luxury East Village skincare store Kiehl's will be opening its first full-service spa in celebration of the brand's 160th anniversary. Named Spa 1851, the spa will occupy the second floor of Kiehl's new Upper East Side space, due to open next month.

We hear that treatments will all begin with a free lavender-scented message, and facials come with a hot Argan oil hand treatment. Those getting facials will get a custom-blended potion based on their individual skin needs. Other perks: iPads for customers in the lounge and limited-edition Havaianas to pad around in. Great for couples: Everything at the spa is available for men and women, but there are guy-specific grooming services avaialable.
