InterContinental Bora Bora Gets a New GM

InterContinental Resorts French Polynesia has appointed Stephane Massarini as general manager of the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa.

Massarini joins the resort with more than 15 years of international management experience along with a strong culinary background in luxury hotels and resorts. In French Polynesia, he previously held roles at the Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa and The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, where he served as executive assistant manager.

In addition to his time in French Polynesia, Massarini spent a few years in Thailand before joining the IHG InterContinental rebranding program in Japan. First assigned to the ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort, he then joined the Okinawa flagship property, the ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort, for a span of two years. Massarini was then appointed to the ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka for two years. Most recently, Massarini worked in Europe for a luxury, five-star independent property in Geneva, Switzerland, as executive assistant manager in charge of food and beverage.
