Thomas Stanley Named COO of Cox and Kings USA

Cox and Kings India Ltd. has appointed travel industry expert Thomas Stanley COO and centre head for Cox & Kings USA. The move, which was made effective July 1, 2010, means Stanley will oversee US operations for Cox and Kings India Ltd.
 
Stanley possesses more than 25 years of travel industry experience, with an acute understanding of the luxury market and tourism perspectives in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America. He will look to expand and evolve Cox & Kings’ luxury travel products throughout the U.S. and Canadian markets, we hear.
 
“Travel should be deeply experiential,” Stanley said in a statement. “It’s not just about seeing, but about learning and coming away with a strong emotional connection with a destination."

Over the past five years, Stanley worked with various companies including tour operators, small cruise lines and Internet companies. He also served as president of Travcoa and vice president of sales and marketing for Trafalgar Tours.
