The Point Resort Opens Its Doors to Families

December 15, 2009 By: Meagan Drillinger

For the past 23 years, The Point, a luxury resort in New York State's Adirondacks, has been an adults-only experience. But now, for the first time since it opened its doors, it is giving families a chance to take advantage of what it has to offer.

From March 26 to 31 (and then again from November 21 to 28), The Point is welcoming children to join their parents for a family vacation.

Guests can enjoy family activities like ice-fishing, snowman building, scavenger hunts, cooking classes, hikes and ice-skating.

All amenities, activities, accommodations and meals are covered by the all-inclusive package. One child under age 12 may be an additional guest in your room for no extra charge. Multiple children as well as children 13 and older will need separate accommodations.

Rates start at $1,250 per night per two people.
